On June 29, 2023, representatives of the University met with representatives of the CPW-UAW Union for their thirteen bargaining session.
The University presented a Revised Comprehensive Offer of Settlement for the Union’s consideration with modifications to address the concerns the Union expressed with respect to Recognition, Appointments, Discharge and Discipline, and Grievance and Arbitration, as well as Postdoctoral Fellows, inclusivity, the University’s Anti-Bullying Initiative, and authorship and the University’s Copyright and Intellectual Property policy.
The parties reached a Tentative Agreement on Recognition and Union Access.
The parties are scheduled to meet again on June 30, 2023.
